PHCS Network
The PHCS Network is the largest proprietary preferred provider organization
(PPO) network in the country.
With nearly 450,000 providers and over 4,000 facilities in our Network, health plan members
have access to a quality network of providers wherever they may be. As a proprietary
network, we contract directly with every provider participating in our Network,
allowing us to deliver seamless network services and reduced costs for customers and
their health plan members. PHCS performs rigorous credentialing for providers in the
Network to ensure that they meet our quality standards. We also boast a high network
retention rate due to improved provider satisfaction, so members can be confident that
once they select a participating physician, that doctor will remain available through
their health plan.
PHCS Care Management
In addition to its PPO Network, PHCS is the second largest independent care management
company in the country. Our care management team reviews patient cases to ensure that
health plan members receive the most appropriate care in the most appropriate settings
while helping customers manage costs. Our new flexible PHCS Care Management program
gives customers the freedom to choose from a menu of options that best meet their unique
utilization review needs.
